The current shelf has three directions: a novel, a book about dreams and an encyclopedia of symbols. More will be added when the manuscripts are ready.
A philosophical novel-parable about a city where reasonable decisions gradually form a system whose cost keeps rising. The Price of Order explores the boundary between necessity, responsibility, and the moment when preserving order begins to threaten what it was meant to protect.

Evgeny Leonov lives in Lithuania and writes fiction and research books about folklore, symbols, dreams and cultural memory. He also founded BAFES and runs several thematic journals.
If a story is almost too good to be true, it is worth checking. If it survives the check, even better. Leonov tries not to confuse fact, version and legend; each is interesting in its own way.
Research & editorial work
Research rarely fits inside one book. BAFES and the journals grew around the same questions and sources, each with its own audience and temperament.
